KDE has been straightened out. the fix was that mariadb-server had a
"Requires(pretrans): systemd" which mean you needed to have systemd
installed before trying to install mariadb-server resulting in any
install that included mariadb-server failing, which included the KDE
livecd.

the virt stack, nginx and mongodb are held up by gperftools which is
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=979687 spot was working on
it today.
