Hi,

I just build php 5.5.0RC2 in F19.

A quite interesting change was introduce in this version.

php-fpm now collaborate with systemd (work in type=notify) and will
report about its health via "systemctl status php-fpm" giving

- number of process (active + idle)
- number of request (total + slow)
- current traffic (req/sec since last refresh).

Ex: Status: "Processes active: 1, idle: 5, Requests: 765, slow: 2,
Traffic: 3.4req/sec"

Refresh interval is configurable using "systemd_interval" new option in
php-fpm.conf. (systemd WatchDogSec is also honored, but this will
require more tests to find a good config.)

Please, give it a try (and karma)

Remi.

P.S. : we'll probably have another RC, and I still hope final 5.5.0 will
available, at least as a 0day update.
