Latest firefox doesn't pick up plugins in /usr/lib/mozilla

I've placed flash and java plugins in /usr/lib/mozilla and firefox
picked them up. With the latest version of firefox this does not happen.
 firefox-0.10.1-1.0PR1.12 is the version I'm running.
