Count me in for Nouveau - I have a problem I've been trying to nail down for months on my ancient GeForce 6150SE nForce 430. Symptoms (Fedora 18) none with 3.6 kernel. With 3.7 or later, GNOME desktop comes up but as soon as I launch Firefox, I get diagonal lines across the screen and I need to power cycle the machine to use it again. With the KDE desktop, it does the same thing during the login and I don't even get a desktop. I had to switch to the 'nv' X driver to get the machine to function with 3.7. And there's no log file anywhere I can attach to a bug report. If there are things I can do to capture a log of this beast, please let me know!
