Technically, it is fixable without too much hard work. I spoke with
Ray and I'll hold on to the package for a little while longer but will
probably retire/block it. mate-control-center is supposed to have this
functionality but I'm not seeing it. Either way, it would still be
useful for other DEs. It has some settings that mousetweaks and
control center do not.
