Dear all,

I will be reducing my involvement in packaging LLVM -- I am no longer
regularly using it, the work required to keep it up-to-date is
relatively straightforward, but there are several deficiencies that I
feel others are better positioned to address:

- - Refactorig LLVM's build system to properly use versioned shared
objects. I note that other distributions, and BSD, are still using
static linking, so we appear to be the only ones attempting to package
LLVM properly.
- - Dealing with Clang breaking when GCC is updated, and compatibility
issues with secondary architectures

Thanks to Jens for doing the 3.2 update -- and others who've been
contributing packaging patches.

Let me know if you're interested, and I'll release the package then.

Best regards,

- --
