I tried rp-pppoe-3.5-21 and ppp-2.4.2-6.3 + demand (current rawhide ones didn't work) and it's just about the way I want it to be now. Seems to give up permanently if the network isn't up on the first try though, if it drops afterwards it does recover nicely. -- Pekka Pietikainen
