Sound currently does not work in F18 VirtualBox guests, due to the pulseaudio
version. It *does* work in Rawhide VirtualBox guests due to the fact that
Rawhide has pulseaudio 3.0 (see
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=862976 ). Any chance of a
corresponding build for F18, or at least a backport which would fix it?
