I didn't consider that, but I should have. But this time I ran grub2-mkconfig, whereas I think the first time I ran grub-mkconfig. I could not find grub-mkconfig this time, so I must have been incorrect. Anyway, I edited /etc/default/grub and removed the font line and added the GFXMODE line. I ran the command grub2-mkconfig -o grub.cfg and got the following errors: It returned several errors: Generating grub.cfg ...
