Suggestions: 1) use Window Selector on top-right corner 2) use a centralized hiding and non-expanding bottom panel with task list 3) use Workspace Switcher on top panel, right aligned to the left of battery status I find 1) and 2) lower the curve for both Windows and MacOS converts central, hiding and non-expanding make the bottom panel not quite MacOS'alike and not quite Windows'alike, but something in the middle that might apease both.
