That's what I have been asking this whole time and no one from FESCO bothered to answer.
What's the rush shipping it now? Why not delay-it until F19 when it has further stabilized?
The distribution upgrade tool just got submitted for reviewed yesterday and we are in FREEZE!
And just to be sure that everything breaks FESCO accepts [3] feature happening in the same development cycle ( wtf ).
So in QA not only have we been dealing with the newUI but also the fact once the installer actually works it might not install the correct bits for due to the packaging rework <sigh>
