Hi all,

This is a formal request required by the procedure in case of absence of the original maintainer to take over the package. This is step #5: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Package_maintainer_policy#What_to_do_if_a_maintainer_is_absent

I asked to become a gradle package co-maintainer but I haven't received any response from Gradle maintainer so far. The relevant bug report: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=855336

I sent an email to devel list: http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/devel/2012-September/171805.html and a few private emails to the gradle maintainer itself, lkundrak on following dates: 2012-08-17, 2012-09-04, 2012-09-24, 2012-09-26. I haven't received any reply.

I opened also a FESCo ticket: https://fedorahosted.org/fesco/ticket/952

The reason behind asking for being co-maintaner is that the current gradle package is very outdated and it lacks of the main gradle binary. I opened a review request for new gradle package and it was officially reviewed:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=809950

Thanks!
