None of those, however, should be causing you not to be able to
login, I don't think. You might need to look deeper for the cause of
that.
gnome-shell depends on control center so there could potentially be an
issue there. However in rawhide where there still isn't a new control
center (builds are failing), using fallback mode seems to work OK.
