I'll take it off your hands for the moment, # repoquery --whatrequires --recursive tritonus freecol-0:0.10.5-1.fc17.noarch freecol-manual-0:0.10.5-1.fc17.noarch tritonus-cdda-0:0.3.7-0.13.20101108cvs.fc17.x86_64 tritonus-esd-0:0.3.7-0.13.20101108cvs.fc17.x86_64 tritonus-fluidsynth-0:0.3.7-0.13.20101108cvs.fc17.x86_64 tritonus-gsm-0:0.3.7-0.13.20101108cvs.fc17.x86_64 tritonus-javadoc-0:0.3.7-0.13.20101108cvs.fc17.x86_64 vorbisspi-0:1.0.3-5.fc17.noarch I am not a Fedora packager, just a longstanding user, but I am a project admin and heavy contributor to the FreeCol upstream. Tritonus (and vorbisspi) are used to provide media support in freecol, so the above repoquery is correct to show a dependency. However there are moves afoot to drop these dependencies, which will hopefully land in the next FreeCol release (0.10.6). Predictably, I can not give you a release date for 0.10.6, but `before F18' is likely. So, if you wish to drop tritonus in F18, rest assured that is fine with us. Cheers, Mike Pope
