I have not been able to boot a kernel since 2.6.6-1.435.2.3 or install from the boot.iso with a later kernel. I filed a bug #129190 about the issue, but the only idea offered was to rebuild the initrd image. I did this to no avail. It appears the sata_nv driver is not in the working 2.6.5 or 2.6.6 initrd anyway. It seems odd that the support for my mobo is worsening but I assume it is an upstream change. Any ideas on how to install the new boot.iso so I can test rawhide out on the machine? mobo is : MSI K8N-Neo Platinum w/ sata thanks, -- matt whiteley <mattwhiteley@xxxxxxxxx>
