Gets even more messy when you start doing 802.1x/EAP/TKIP/WPA/RSN/whatnot, some cards hide the packets you should be processing from you completely, so xsupplicant breaks. Then there's the problem of setting the right dynamic WEP keys on the chip which also works in mysterious ways. Fortunately the competition is not that much better in this area, things work just about as randomly on XP as they do on Linux ;-) -- Pekka Pietikainen
