Ryan Tomayko, a while back, was working on a front end/config interface
to rdiff-backup that would allow the user to select files/dirs they
wanted to have rdiff-backup get.

He also had looked into interfacing it w/rpm-python to make sure it
didn't grab files managed by rpm - or if it did only backing up those
files that have changed since the rpm install.
