This could use some testing love. If it misses Fedora 16 final, it won't be a huge setback. The only change between what's already in f16 and this updated package is the two bug fixes mentioned. I've tested those fixes myself (my workstation didn't work properly until the fixes went in, not that it wouldn't run, but the writemostly bit was getting confused and on reboot devices that shouldn't be writemostly were). -------- Original Message -------- Subject: [Fedora Update] [CRITPATH] [old_testing_critpath] mdadm-3.2.2-7.fc16 Date: Mon, 22 Aug 2011 00:00:23 +0000 From: updates@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To: dledford@xxxxxxxxxx The critical path update for mdadm-3.2.2-7.fc16 has been in 'testing' status for over 2 weeks, and has yet to be approved. ================================================================================ mdadm-3.2.2-7.fc16 ================================================================================ Update ID: FEDORA-2011-9952 Release: Fedora 16 Status: testing Type: bugfix Karma: 0 Notes: This fixes two bugs related to readding a device to an array, one : that would cause the readd to fail and an add to be : done instead (which requires significantly more resync : load to bring the device back into the array) and : another in regards to the usage of the writemostly : flag being incorrectly copied from existing drives in : the array to the newly added drive.
