I've been a Fedora user since FC5 but hadn't contributed until I started working for Red Hat earlier this year as part of Fedora QA, spending most of my time on AutoQA. Prior to starting at Red Hat, I was working on an internal test automation framework for storage device firmware. I was planning to wait until I had participated in more reviews or submitted a new package but I use python-pip and when I saw it was about to be orphaned, I thought that I would try to take over maintenance. At this point, I've only participated in part of the review for py.test [1] and am still quite new to the process. Since I would be new to packaging, I need to find a mentor before taking on python-pip. I am very much interested in learning the ropes and would appreciate it if someone was willing to help me learn as a mentor. Thanks, Tim [1] https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=675587
