Linus announced kernel 2.6.6 today, will it be integrated into Fedora Core 2 ?
I've found many valuable bug-fixes in the new release.

Most of these fixes are already incorporated in one form or another in 2.6.5-1.358, which is very likely to be the final kernel for FC2.

Does it mean there will be no way to install fc2 on any asus p4p800 mobo? Please see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=121819. I can confirm the problem persists with the 2.6.5-1.358 kernel. However, the smp kernel boots without problems.
