Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see what you can genericize here. The applet itself wouldn't have any intrinsic properties related to Kerberos, it has to do with the way that you actually contact and authenticate with whatever service you're trying to use and they're all a bit different here. As far as the just doing the kerberos bits, that's what libkrb5 is for. Jeremy
