I've created a set of unofficial, experimental FC-devel installer boot floppies. They're available here: http://math.uci.edu/~bnathan/linux/fc2-floppies-i386/ Right now I've posted floppies for rawhide (fc-devel) as of 2004-05-09. There are three floppies. No matter what kind of install you are performing, you need all 3 disks. It's currently very bare-bones; it does not offer the user the option of adding command line arguments. Go ahead and try these out if you're interested... FWIW, here's where I obtained the various components I hacked together: FreeDOS kernel & command.com: FreeDOS Beta9 pre-release5 cat.exe: dosemu-freedos-1.2.0-3mdk loadlin: whatever ships in the dosutils directory with SuSE 9.0 FTP syslinux, memdisk: syslinux-2.08-3 (from fc-devel) vmlinuz, initrd: isolinux directory from fc-devel autoexec.bat: I wrote it. I just realized I didn't think about what kind of license to use for it -- oops. Any suggestions? Right now I'm leaning toward GPL. -Barry K. Nathan <barryn@xxxxxxxxx>
