After booting and logging in as root:

        # systemctl status NetworkManager.service
        NetworkManager.service - Network Manager
                  Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/NetworkManager.service)
                  Active: inactive (dead)
                  CGroup: name=systemd:/system/NetworkManager.service
