I think I miss-read the tone of Michael's reply on custom Dell bits. Apologies, I don't think there's any attack there. But while I'm mailing, I'd like to thank Matt for getting this done (esp. the heavy lifting with standards, etc.). It won't help on my little netbook, but it will help on bigger systems (especially many identical systems with hotswap disks that you want to just work).
