The point is, that even if BIOS reports neither Legacy-IDE-HDDs nor 
SATA, Linux sees something on the motherboard and starts looking for 
HDDs beginning with hda.

I rechecked the BIOS and the only thing which is up, is the 
IDE-RAID-Stuff for the Promise Chip.

This is what confuses me somewhat.
