Yeah, that's my fault.  I am in the process of moving more of the git
wrapper functions out of the class that requires a spec file be around.
 Hopefully in the next big push of bugfixes I make (in the next few
days) this problem will go away.

Now that we have git though, it might be an opportunity to re-think the
end of life actions, and perhaps there is something we can do with git
hooks that can alert a cloner about the package being EOL on certain
branches, but don't mess with the content within, in case the package
gets brought back to life.  Discuss....
