Yes, I agree completely. This issues also hits gtranslator. All non technical steps have been completed (it has been re-reviewed), but even after a CVS admin and rel-eng have been informed and some technical steps have been performed, nobody really knows what has to happen to get it transfered to the new owner for the devel branch and un-deprecated.
