FWIW, I figure the support is currently reasonably useless for NVIDIA chips, as there's nothing for which nouveau-on-NVIDIA is actually faster than intel-on-Intel in Linux, AFAIK. So aside from going 'ooh, it works, shiny', there's no actual reason to switch to the NVIDIA chip, even if you can make it fly.
