There's always that big security hole in the installer – more of an RFE than a bug, and over eleven years old now. Anaconda can download and install packages from the network, but it doesn't check whether they have been tampered with. This hits upgrading particularly hard, because upgrading from a DVD is broken without updates and insecure if updates are included, and Preupgrade will also remain insecure until this gets addressed. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=998 Björn Persson
