The patch applies just as easily to either.  So which it was originally
against matters not all that much.

Yes, it's being considered (although I don't own modutils :).  I'm
probably going to throw it into rawhide for a week or so first to try to
shake out weirdness and then go for updates testing and from there to a
final update.  I'm fairly cautious when it comes to updating important
things like modutils ;)
