Why would anyone care if anything older than the 8500 is supported by
ATI's binary drivers?  The open-source drivers included in FC/RHL have
worked fine on everything up to the 8500 since RH8, as I recall.

And WTF does this whole thread have to do with Fedora development
again?  It sounds like a lot of whining about broken drivers for
hardware that should have been avoided in the first place.
