Splitting of unicap into libunicap, libucil and libunicapgtk

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello folks,

the upstream of unicap splitted the unicap package into libunicap, libucil
and libunicapgtk. On run-time they're 100% compatible with unicap, but only
all three new packages together replace the previous unicap package. Thus
none of libunicap, libucil ands libunicapgtk has a provides for unicap and
all obsolete unicap.

On build-time, you've to decide/figure out, which of the new packages are
needed. Note that libunicapgtk depends on libucil and libucil depends on
libunicap (these dependencies are build and run-time).

Right now, there are still buildroot overrides on EL-5 and F-11+ that new
builds of packages depending on former unicap can be fired easily with the
new dependencies.

Greetings,
  Robert
