Well, it's all a bit inconsistent presently:


$ yum install maxima
Loaded plugins: presto, refresh-packagekit
You need to be root to perform this command.
$ maxima
Command not found. Install package 'maxima' to provide command 'maxima'? [N/y]

... and what's more it bails with "command not found" anyway.... which
component isn't working here?
