We tried it in various ways at various times, e.g. [1]. I even offered help but got nothing... Shall I fix the bugs and update the package with my "proven" powers? I don't like to do substantial changes on other people's packages. But this one has a security bug that is open for 8 months... Also a few users asked me to update ardour but I can't do it without updating libsndfile. What shall we do?
