In case you were unaware libgdl is broken with the client-side windows
in GTK 2.18. I filed an upstream bug report about the issue. I assume
the libgdl developers released 2.28 to go along with the release of
Gnome 2.28. However they apparently didn't test their code with GTK
2.18. You can reproduce the problem by rearranging/closing/opening the
apps docked windows.
