I can suspend my laptop  i need to push the power button to resume and the 
system doesnt shut down  but once i suspend i cant get the network to run 
without a reboot.  FWIW i have a Dell Inspiron 4150.

I use KDE and configured klaptop  to allow me to suspend the machine.
