After starting on converting that source to an rpm, I noticed this:
[thomas@tee thomas]$ ls
/lib/modules/2.6.5-1.358/kernel/drivers/net/sk98lin
/lib/modules/2.6.5-1.358/kernel/drivers/net/sk98lin/sk98lin.ko

So why aren't you using this driver that is included with the kernel ?
