Unfortunately, I don't use nor Gnome, neither KDE.


If you have an xorg.conf file, or you don't mind creating one, add

	Option "XkbOptions" "terminate:ctrl_alt_bksp"

to the keyboard section. If you don't, you might try using setxkbmap on the command line.
