If a program crashes, there's a bug in that program. There may also be a
bug in whatever's triggering the crash, but that's a separate issue.

So I should fill a but for both Xsane, GnomeScan and X.org?

FWIW I've had no trouble using xsane in F11.

Different hardware, different sane backends.
