I like the button changes.
But the inactive tabs should be lighter than the active tab, and the active tab should be darker than shown.
Also, can the tab size changes be made from a theme, or does that require changes to app code?
Perhaps the button border color changes could/should be done separately if there is agreement - so it doesn't get bogged down if the tab changes are more involved.
