When looking at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/Empathy, I found it contains it owns a list of bugs blocking its acceptance as a default IM client. However, I have filed (after discussion with maintainers on IRC) a special tracking bug for this purpose in our Bugzilla -- https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=494985 Somebody should decide which method is the one (I like bugzilla, but that maybe just me, maybe random wikipage is better tool for that purpose) and eliminate the other one.
