Shouldn't shadow-utils instead /usr/sbin/nscd -i {passwd,group}
depending on what file changed?
That will work even with stock nscd (SIGHUP is a local patch) and
there is no need to find out the pid of nscd (just check if /usr/sbin/nscd
exists).
