The latter, of course (and I'm sure you know that :-) ). And this is exactly the problem with the naming. The "Fedora Desktop team" is basically identical to the Red Hat Desktop Team which is really a GNOME team, not a desktop team. How Red Hat calls their departments is their own business, but their internal naming should not leak into the names of released products/projects/spins/whatever. Just because it's produced by a team calling itself the "Desktop Team" doesn't make it the "desktop spin".
