It would make more sense for the Fedora Board to just come out and say
that they don't like anything but Gnome, and would prefer not to have

really kind of sad.
The board would likely never say that. However there are a large number
of Fedora resources that are focused on new technology and advancements
in the user experience. Most of this effort is focused on the Gnome
desktop.
You are once again demonstrating your inability of not being able to
keep RH and Fedora separate - RH is focused on Gnome.

Fedora community devs actually are not focused on Gnome.

Actually, I was explaining that Red Hat's focus on GNOME is naturally
reflected in Fedora due to the amount of people working on Fedora from
Red Hat. Your separation is artificial in this case.
No. keating@RH's claim is simply wrong.

He thinks @RH's objectives goals are identical to those of the community - He is plain wrong wrt. this.

This doesn't invalidate the fact RH's predominance in Fedora-leadership and the amount of @RH's participating in Fedora shows effects.

People like you and keating likely are too RH-streamlined and too close to RH to understand the importance of this consideration.
