Followed by many many tests, my solution on my spare laptop:
press [Esc] on grub menu > type 'linux acpi=off' and [Enter]
That's it and I went into GUI installation screen.

good to hear you got it going, acpi off was one of the many things i
tried on my acer one aspire and i just couldn't get it to go, it always
froze at loading plymouth, thankfully the fedora xfce packager kevin
fenzi knocked up a newer spin to use and it worked perfectly so i have
f11 beta installed on 11 acer one's and it's running well so far :)
