What, do you expect me to go and get the whole community to adopt a
common device naming standard first before you will do this?

Can you give feedback on what changes you would like to see to the current fedora development rpm?



It would be nice if at least udevstart was called at installation
and/or boot time, I've filed bug 120605 on this some time ago. This
is kind of blocking the Utopia bits - you have to run udevstart manually when using J5 packages.

attached a patch for rc.sysinit to bug 120605


Having a minimal /dev would be nice as well.
