KMS does work and it's a way faster than the fedora driver. The recompile took about 1 min (and extra time for pulling the deps) and it's really easy. I'm wondering if the patches make the driver so bloated. One of them is called something like ***-drm or ***-modeset. And I thought those have already been merged in 6.11.0.
