Noarch subpackages: Upcoming Feature Freeze

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

The Feature Freeze is just ahead of us. If we can get a considerable amount of packages changed until next Monday we can try to add a short note [1] to the release notes. A few dozen packages from the very top of the lists could already be enough.

To make it easier for co-maintainers I added all owners to the sorted package lists:

 https://fedoraproject.org/w/uploads/a/a3/SplitCandidates.txt
 https://fedoraproject.org/w/uploads/b/b3/NoarchCandidatesByContentSize.txt
 https://fedoraproject.org/w/uploads/a/a2/NoarchCandidatesByPackageSize.txt

So just search for your Fedora account name in there. I especially want to point out the large number of games on the top of the SplitCandidates list.

Please add the packages you changed or plan to change to
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/NoarchSubpackages/PackagesChanged
Put the later in parenthesis. That way it will be easier to justify a release note entry and to argue that the Feature is (at least a bit) finished.

Florian

[1] Exact wording is still wanted.
