gnome power manager - laptop lid close/open not being detected on Rawhide

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I have a Thinkpad T60p. Under F10 lid close/open was detected and the system
would suspend/resume.

After "up"-grading to rawhide this no longer occurs, although right clicking on
gnome power manager and selecting "suspend" works fine, as does pressing the
"fn" key to wakeup.

I'm tracking updates, but nothing's changed in this behaviour in the last 2
weeks. Video is ATI (R500) using the "radeon" driver. Kernel is 32 bit PAE
(2.6.29-0.145.rc6.fc11.i686.PAE)

I opened up https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=485844 with details

Suspect it's related to the changes with Devkit-power vs hal ?

Anyone else seeing this, or is it just me :-(
