This same package builds fine with 4.3.

F77 tests fail with:

proc_str: FCI inconsistent with Type1Lookup; internal PLplot error, aborting operation

Don't really have an easy way to debug.


Just for the record - problem was incorrect typing of arguments in a Fortran -> C call. Why it "worked" on i386/x86_64 is a mystery. Another plus for multiple architectures, although it was a pain to debug. David Woodhouse will be pleased :-).
